With reference to the article ‘UFO surprise over town’, Wilton residents may be interested to know that I saw one of these brightly-lit objects on Saturday, May 30, at 10.55pm as I drove into my home in East Knoyle.
It was as described, with white flames underneath. It was low and moving swiftly. At the time, I was concerned in case it landed on my neighbour’s thatched roof - it had been a very hot day. However, the object veered off and dis-appeared. I could not think what it was, and it did not occur to me it could be a UFO until I read the article in
